About Us

The Nostalgia Collection is a family run business, esablished in February 2008. We began trading on ebay, later expanding to ebid and finally to our own website in September 2008.

The desire to have our own business has been around for a long time, but the impetus to finally start up was provided by Kay's worsening arthritis which meant that she had to move on from her job in catering.

We work from home simply because it's easier and keeps our costs down. We currently only trade online. At present we live in the North Cambridgeshire Fens, but are trying to relocate as we want a bigger garden. So, if you fancy a change, please come and buy our house.

So why nostalgia?

We both love classic cars and are often to be found at various classic car shows during the summer months, just admiring them and hoping that one day we will have our own. We do appreciate the benefits of a modern car, but there is something rather romantic about vintage cars and the era they come from. At heart we are traditionalists and worry that all that is typically British will be lost with all the modern technology that is now a part of our lives. Fortunately, retro-inspired gifts and homewares blend well with the modern home and we would like to bring a little bit of Old England into everyone's life.
